Scam Rescue TV

How Scam Rescue TV, Scam Check, mathewmartello.com and The Comeback Crew work together: what each one is for, how the short show feeds the long show, and how one viewer becomes a member.

What Mathew delivers

For people who trusted someone online and got hurt, or are worried it is happening now, Mathew explains how scams build a relationship before money comes up and gives his opinion. For anyone with a major setback, The Comeback Crew helps them bounce back.

Special skillEternal optimism, which he shares with others.

Who it's forThe four people we are talking to

Main person 1The survivor in hiding

They were scammed online and have told almost no one. They need to hear it from someone it happened to.

You'll know them because
  • They have re-read the old messages looking for the moment they should have known.
  • They have not told at least one person close to them.
  • They feel stupid, even though they are not.
  • A stranger has already offered to get their money back for a fee.
  • They want the loss to have meant something.
Main person 2The person starting over

Anyone who has had a major setback, such as a lost business, a lost job, a divorce or a big money loss, and wants to come back. They may never have been scammed.

You'll know them because
  • They tell people they are fine when they are not.
  • They keep replaying what happened, looking for the moment it went wrong.
  • They know they have more in them, and do not know where to start.
The outlierThe son or daughter who pays for a parent

Most people worried about a parent only want the free tools. Once in a while, an adult child pays for private help for a parent who is being scammed and will not listen to family.

You'll know them because
  • Their parent has a new online friend and gets defensive when asked.
  • Money is leaving the parent's account for new reasons.
  • They have already tried talking, and it turned into a fight.
  • They would rather pay than watch it get worse.
The extremeThe owner someone has dirt on

A business owner, an executive or a company being blackmailed. Someone has something on them and wants money, or it comes out. They would pay the most, and they must call a lawyer first.

You'll know them because
  • A former partner, employee or contractor is threatening to expose something.
  • There is a deadline, and they have told almost no one.
  • They ask if a conversation is private before saying anything.
  • The cost of it going wrong is far bigger than the fee.

The triangleThree corners. One flywheel.

Every brand we build is three properties. Once someone runs into you through any one of them, they understand you a lot better, and they move around to the other two.

Scam Rescue TV

scamrescue.tv

Scam Rescue TV is the long show, in the shape of Bar Rescue: Mathew helps people rebuild after being scammed by someone they trusted. Scam Check is the micro show: a video call, his opinion, and the audience votes on whether it is a scam. The micro show brings the attention, and sends people to the long show. Every planned episode has its own page at scamrescue.tv/episodes/, sorted into five kinds of scam.

The micro showScam Check: A video call with someone who is not sure. Mathew hears the situation, gives his opinion, and viewers vote: is this a scam? Viewers join in by: Vote in the comments and on the episode page: is this a scam? It sends people to Scam Rescue TV, then to mathewmartello.com, then The Comeback Crew.

The shorts. Scam Check is the micro show. It repeats the same shape every time and asks the audience to join in. The other series feed it.

The Comeback Crew

thecomebackcrew.com

Where people get closer to Mathew. The Comeback Crew is group coaching for anyone who has had a major setback, such as a lost business, a lost job, a divorce or a big money loss, and wants to bounce back. Being scammed is Mathew's own setback and one example.

The flywheelHow one person goes all the way around

  1. They see a short. A Scam Check clip stops their scroll.
  2. They watch the show. They see someone like them stand back up.
  3. They get to know him. On his site they learn it happened to him too.
  4. They get closer. They fill in the Am I getting scammed? form or take the 10 free questions, and anyone with a major setback can look at the Crew.
  5. They come back around. Members who agree become episodes, and that brings in the next person.

Every corner feeds the next one. Nobody has to find all three on the first day.

This weekWhere we start

  1. His yes or no answers. Will he take the $97 calls, run the $997 group, do the $4,997 private coaching and offer private help to owners being blackmailed? They are on his dashboard.
  2. His story. The 60 questions, or talk them through on a call. Then he picks how much of it goes public.
  3. His accounts. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, with one picture, bio and link.
  4. Three Scam Check shorts. Real calls, filmed on his phone, with the graphics that are ready. Each caller says yes on camera first.
